On the front cover it says, ‘…Flora’s having the time of someone else’s life…’ What would you do if you were cast into the past by a magic spell? Flora mysteriously swaps lives with a schoolgirl in 1935. And 1935 is like another world…no cellphones, ipods, or computers. Who is it, then, filling her place in 2010, at the boarding school she was getting sent to? Will she get back to the 21st century? And how?.... A bit of magic, a bit of time travel and a dash of mystery with realistic characters meant I couldn’t put it down until the very end! Eleven- and twelve-year-old girls will relate to the characters and story best.
