Maggie McElroy, food writer, goes on a “working” trip to China to write about a young up and coming chef, Sam Ling, while also investigating a paternity suit against her late husband’s estate. This is an entertaining story with fascinating information on the food culture of China. Lots of strands skilfully interwoven to produce a rich story about family, food and love. Beautifully written.

I enjoyed the Novel. Not your usual Love story, Story focus on chinese culture of food, so you must have an interest in food to enjoy this one.
