Savages by Fox Searchlight Pictures

Discovered this very good film about a dysfunctional but loving family, starring Laura Linney and Philip Seymour Hoffman. The Savages comprise of a brother, sister and their estranged father who they are forced to take care of when he develops dementia.
They collect their father from the very strange Sun City in Arizona and transport him to the very different environment of Buffalo in New York State.
This is a compassionate, gently amusing and well-acted film. Highly recommended.
