Lending PolicyYour library card can be used at any of the North Shore Libraries and the Mobile Library. Bring your card with you each visit as we are unable to issue books without it. What if I need to keep my books longer?Items can be renewed for one further standard loan period unless the item has been requested.You may do this by phone, in person, or online.You will need your PIN number for this online option. You can obtain a PIN by following these online instructions. Who can use my card?YOU are responsible for any books issued on your library card. What if I lose my card or it is stolen?Report a missing card immediately – remember anything borrowed on your card is your responsibility. On your next visit to the library show your identification and for a small charge we will issue you a replacement card. These may be used in the library only: Reference books What if I lose a book or it is damaged?See us as soon as possible and we will try to help. A replacement charge will be made which may also include an administration fee.
