My Account HelpLogging InIn order to log in to your account you need to have a library card and a PIN number. If you do not have a PIN number, contact your local library. Enter your library card number and PIN number in the My Account area on the right hand side of every page on this website. Alternatively, you can log in by clicking on the My Account link. If you are a not a library member but would like a demonstration of My Account, click on the My Account link and select Log in as Guest. Guest accounts are reset at the end of the day. Editing your New Release PreferencesTo edit what items are displayed in the New Releases area you must set some preferences. Open the My Preferences page by clicking on the My Account link in the navigation menu then clicking on Edit My New Release Preferences. Alternatively you can also click on the Edit Preferences link at the bottom of the New Releases area. Adding New Release PreferencesTo add a New Release Preference type in the authors name or select the formats and/or topics that you would like to view. Click on the button to add the preference to your list. Example 1: Add an author preference for Terry Pratchett. In the first name field put Terry. In the last name field put Pratchett. Click on the create entry button. Example 2: Add an author preference for Madonna. In the first name field put Madonna. Leave the last name field blank. Click on the create entry button. Example 3: Add a preference for Fantasy Fiction. Select Fiction from the Format list and Fantasy from the Topic list. Click on the create entry button. Example 4: Add a preference for CD-ROMs. Select CD-ROM from the Format list and 'All' from the Topic list. Click on the create entry button. Example 5: Add a preference for all Mystery related items, regardless of format. Select 'All from the Format list and Mystery from the Topic list. Click on the create entry button. You can choose up to a total of 15 preferences. Deleting New Release PreferencesTo delete a New Release Preference click on the button beside the preference that you wish to remove. Updating New Release PreferencesYou cannot update New Release Preferences. If you made a mistake with a preference, delete it then add the correct preference.
