MembershipAcceptable Identification | Acceptable Proof of Address | Information Pamphlets | Registration Forms Membership of North Shore Libraries is free to all residents and ratepayers of the North Shore City local government area. There is no minimum age requirement to join the library. Join the library online. Bring personal identification and proof of address e.g. current phone account, or bank statement. We also require an alternate contact name, address and phone number. Under 18 registrations must be signed by the child's parent or legal guardian in the presence of a librarian. Library members may access the online catalogue and their own borrower information using their membership number and library PIN. A company which is a ratepayer or leaseholder of a North Shore property may join the libraries under the name of a company representative. We require a North Shore City rates notice and a letter of authorisation. The membership is for company use only, and must be renewed annually. People who live outside the city boundaries and are not North Shore ratepayers are welcome to join by subscription of $50 for six months, $100 for a year. Non-North Shore residents under 18 years attending educational institutions on the North Shore may join for free. Proof of enrollment is required. Acceptable Identification
