The North Shore Libraries Foundation is a registered charity which raises funds to help North Shore Libraries preserve our rich and wonderful heritage. This includes holding celebrity author events and organising book clubs. The North Shore Libraries Foundation has hosted many varied and exciting author events. Previous visitors include Michael Palin, Kathy Reichs and Ian Rankin.
The North Shore Libraries Foundation organises book discussion groups
which meet on a monthly basis in each other's houses. The Foundation
can find you a group to join, or a book group already formed can join
and arrange access to sets of modern fiction, biographies and NZ literature.
