Denny HulmeThis collection was established to commemorate New Zealand's only Formula
One racing champion (1967), the late Denny Hulme O.B.E. who died in October
1992. A comprehensive range of reference books, back issues of New Zealand Car and Autocar magazines, and up to date clippings files on all major New Zealand motorsport personalities are highlights of the collection .A unique feature of the collection is the display of a racing uniform,
cups, certificates, newspaper clippings and photos which New Zealand racing
extraordinaire, Jim Boyd, gave to Takapuna library prior to his death
