Angela Morton collection

The Angela Morton collection is a reference collection of books and other materials covering the visual arts of New Zealand from pre-European times to the present day. It is a memorial collection dedicated to the late Angela Morton, who was a North Shore resident devoted to New Zealand art, and the nucleus of the collection was funded from an original family bequest in 1985. There is an ongoing commitment by North Shore Libraries not only to the present collection, but to its future development with the intention of confirming its place as an invaluable resource for the citizens of North Shore City.

Access is provided in conjunction with the opening hours at the Takapuna Library.

Items can be searched for on the North Shore Libraries catalogue.

The collection also includes videos and slide kits. Arrangements to view these can be made at the Reference Desk, Takapuna Library, by phone (09) 486 8460, or via e-mail to Colleen Christie.
